These notes ©2017, Andrew Carnie. This dance is from Pirin, the Macedonian part of Bulgaria. The name is the first words of the song.  The dance was introduced to the US by Yves Moreau.

Music: Yves Moreau volume 6
Meter: 9/8 counted as (12)(34)(56)(7)(89). or SSSQS  (Yves counts the dance as QQQS, but the last slow is actually split into an & (7) count and a Q (89), which makes it equivalent to SSSQS)
Formation: Open Circle, hands in V position. Leads to the R
Introduction: 8 bars no action, start with the singing.

Part 1: Vocals

Bar 1: In LOD, step R (S), L (S) R (S), hop on R (Q), Step on L (S)
Bar 2: repeat bar 1
Bar 3: Turn to face center, step R to R (S), Cross L behind R (S),  Step on R to R (S), step on L to L (Q), Cross R over in front of L (S)
Bar 4: Still facing center Step on L to L (S), Cross R behind L (S), Step on L to L (S) bounce on both feet together (Q), bounce on both feet again (S)
Bars 5-16: repeat bars 1-4 three more times.

Part 2: Instrumental

Bar 1: Facing center and moving towards center step R (S), L (S), hop on L, hooking R foot in front of L shin (S), Step R (Q), L (S) into the center
Bar 2: repeat bar 1
Bar 3: with a slight preparatory lift of the R foot (ah), Push R foot down in a "braking" motion (S), Čukče on L, lifting R knee up and pulling R foot backwards (S), Step back on R out of the center (S), Step L (Q), R (S) backing out of the center
Bar 4: Repeat bar 4, with opposite footwork, but still backing out.
Bars 5-8: repeat bars 1-4

All the young women are at the dance, or at the well or at the sedenka but you Dona sit at home. Come on down and stop tormenting yourself
