Iste vaise e aquel vaise
e todos todos se van.
Galicia sin homes queda
que te - poidan traballar.
Tes en cambio orfos e orfas
tes campos de soledad,
tes maes que non teñien fillos
e fillos que non ten pai.
E tes cor - azóns que sofren
longas ausencias mortais,
viúdas de vivos e mortos
que viven con soledad.

Widows of the alive and dead.
One goes and the other one goes and all, all of them go.
Galida stays without men that can work the land.
Instead you have orphans, instead you have lonely fields, you have mothers that do not have children and children that do not have a father.
And you have hearts that suffer long fatal absences,
widows of the alive and dead that live in longing.
