These notes ©2017, Andrew Carnie. Yves Moreau introduced this dance to the US. He observed it begin done by a village group from Simitli in 1970 at a Festival in Petrič. However, the dance name means it comes from Delčevo.

Formation: Short Lines, in Belt Hold
Introduction: 8 bars no action
Bar 1: Facing LOD, Hop on L (Q), Step R (Q), L (S) in LOD
Bar 2: repeat bar 1
Bar 3: Turn to face center, Hop on L (Q), Step on heel of R foot to R (Q), step on L behind R (S)
Bar 4: Step on R to R (Q), Hop on R, while lifting L in front low (S)
Bars 5-6: repeat bars 3-4, with opposite footwork and direction
Bar 7: Repeat bar 4
Bar 8: Repeat bar 4, with opposite footwork and direction, on lift swing to face RLOD
Bar 9: Facing RLOD, cross R over L, bending body over at waist (Q), Step on L in place (Q), Stomp on R crossed over in place (S)
Bar 10: Hop on R, straightening up and swing L around to face LOD (QQ), Step on L in LOD (S)
repeat from the beginning.
