Formation: Open circle. Front Basket, L over R. Leads to the R
Introduction: 12 bars no action

Part 1: Singing

Bar 1: Facing center, step R to R (QQ), Close L next to R, no weight (S)
Bar 2: Step on L into the center (QQ), Close R next to L, no weight (S)
Bar 3: Step back on R away from center (QQ), Close L next to R, but this time take weight (S)
Bars 4-15: repeat bars 1-3, 4 more times (5 in total)
Bar 16: repeat bar 1, end with L foot free.

Part 2: Instrumental

Bar 1:  Step on L in and slightly to the L, turning body to face slightly L  (Q), stamp on R next to L (Q). Step on R forward opening up to face center (S)
Bar 2: repeat bar 1
Bar 3: Moving slightly forward, step L (Q), R (Q), L (S)
Bar 4: Stamp R next to L no weight (Q), pause (Q), Step backwards on R away from center (S)
Bar 5: Big step back on on L (Q), pause (Q). Close R next to L (S)
Bar 6: Repeat bar 5
Bar 7: Step L (Q), R (Q), L (S) in place
Bar 8: Stamp R next to L (Q), pause (Q), Step on R in place (S)
Bars 9-16: repeat bars 1-8, except on last slow count of bar 16, replace step on R with a second stamp of the R foot.

Стояновата стара майчица 

тя на Стояна тихом думаше:

“Нека се годи, нека се жени, 

по-подир растат малките моми. 

Малките моми – тънки, високи, 

бели, червени, руси, засмени!”

Stoyan said quietly to his mother,
“Oh, my dear, wise mother,
Did you hear, did you understand
That my only love is getting married?

She got engaged – but I’m still burning with love for her.
She is getting married – I have no future!”
Stoyan’s wise mother
said wisely to him:

“Let her get engaged, let her get married,
Now young girls are growing up,
Young girls – thin and tall,
fair, pretty, blonde, and happy.”

Important note: We screwed up the sequence when we did the dance in this video. During the taxim, we did the part 1 six times instead of 5. This meant we ended the dance in the middle of part 2.
