Bar 1: Čukče on L, swing arms forward (Q), Step on R in LOD (S)
Bar 2: Čukče on R, swing arms back (Q), Step on L in LOD (S)
Bars 3-4: repeat bars 1-2
Bar 5: Arms come up to W position, turn to face center, cross R over L (Q). Step on L to L (S)
Bar 6: Step on R behind L (Q), Step on L to L (S)
Bar 7: repeat bar 5
Bar 8: Čukče on L (Q), step on R slightly backwards (S)
Bar 9: Čukče on R (Q), Step on L next to R (S)

A mother says to her son Dimitur, “ Dimitre, my son, Dimitre, stand up and see what kind of a dance is happening in Ruzhka’s garden! There is one fellow next to each girl, but there are two crazy young fellows next to your girlfriend Ruzhka!”

Dimitur answers his mother, “Let them dance, my mother, I’m not worried about my girlfriend! Ruzhka is mine, because her kitka (bouquet of flowers) is with me and my ring is with her!”
