Pravo Dračevsko Oro Право Драчевско Оро(Macedonia)

Music:
Meter: 7/8, counted as (12)(34)(567) or QQS
Formation: Open circle. Start with hands in W position (although Atanas' original notes say V position), Leads to the Right
Introduction: wait through the long gajda (bagpipe) taxim, then wait for 4 bars after the drums start.
Part 1
Bar 1: Moving in LOD, step R (QQ), L (S)Bar 2: Step on R in LOD (QQ), Lift L foot next to R calf (S)
Bar 3: Step L (Q), R (Q), L (S) in LOD
repeat until leader calls a change
Part 2
This step isn't in the original notes, but Karen Faust learned it from Atanas at Stockton, and it appears in the Stockton errata.Bar 1: Turning to face center, Step on R to R (QQ), Step on L behind R (S)
Bar 2: Step on R to R (QQ), Lift L in front (S)
Bar 3: Step L into the center (Q). Close R behind L (Q), Step on L into the center [On subsequent repeats you back out slight on the behind in bar 1]
Repeat until the leader calls a change (usually with the slightly faster music)
Part 3
According to Tom Deering's notes the arms lower to V position here. That's not the way Karen learned it, but it's possible that Atanas taught it slightly different ways in different placesBar 1: Step on R foot forward with a bent knee (QQ) Step on L in LOD (S)
Bar 2: Jump on both feet, with R foot forward (QQ), bounce on both feet (S)
Bar 3: Displace R foot by stepping on L behind (Q), Step forward on R (Q), Step forward on L (S)
repeat until the end of the music (leader can also call a change back to figure 2)
