Steve didn't know the actual name of this dance so he gave it the nickname "Lisu-7". Lisu refers to the ethnic group of people who do this dance; seven refers to the number of beats in each bar. The notes from France seem to indicate that it was introduced there by Andrée Fischer. We learned the dance from Ann Kyle. The name translates as "Branle from the wolf pit".
